Ice core synthetic down retains loft in humid conditions
This iconic N-1 design has its roots in 1940s U.S. Navy attire, and has been expertly crafted by the good people at Freewheelers, with some of the most authentic detailing weve ever seen. With a vintage/boxy shape, this winter coat has been cut from a durable Jungle Cloth cotton on the outer layer, and boasts a full Alpaca lining for superb warmth.
A concealed collar tab has been featured for protection from the elements, while eyelets have been added to the underarm for breathability. Urea buttons have been featured for period correct authenticity, and the brand have custom manufactured a 1940s style zipper for the front closure. Ribbed cuffs add extra warmth and protection, while a drawstring has been featured on the waistband, to cinch in the shape as desired.
Though many brands offer an interpretation of the much loved N-1 jacket, there are few who get as close to the real thing as Freewheelers & Co.
