This beautiful iteration of the iconic N-1 Deck Jacket has been crafted to the same specifications as the NAF1168, which was originally produced in the early 1940s. Cut from a durable navy jungle cloth cotton with a heavy grain, this boxy shaped jacket has a durable outer shell, and a warming full alpaca pile lining. This rare version would have originally been issued to workers in the Naval Air Craft Factory (NAF), which is why there is no print or stencil featured.
The band have included a custom manufactured Talon zipper, which is covered by a button fastened wind flat to provide extra protection from the elements. Two simple patch pockets have been featured for functionality, and a buttoned throat tab has been added to secure the collar in place when the winds get arctic. A drawstring has been added to the hem to easily adjust the silhouette, and the brand have included custom manufactured, period correct care labels in the collar.
