Having not changed the design for 20 years now, the brands famous 401 sweatshirt is a quality garment with timeless design. Crafted from luxuriously soft 100% cotton fleece, this sweat is a classic 1940s shape which features a slightly longer knitted cuff and waistband, a drop shoulder, and an iconic double v neck construction.

This fabric has been specially woven by the brand on vintage loop-wheel knitting machines, which produce a material with a quality that is unmatched by today's equivalents.

Much like a beloved leather jacket or favourite pair of jeans, this sweat is designed to mould to the shape of your body, and will fit you better and feel more comfortable with each wear. Unlike the 403 model, this sweat features a set in sleeve, an age old technique in jersey design. This oatmeal colourway goes brilliantly with light denims and autumnal colours.
